API Plan & Pricing

The API plan is Glance as an engine for issuing Israeli tax documents, without the Glance interface. You call the API, Glance issues the document, gets its allocation number from the Tax Authority, renders the PDF and delivers it. You pay a monthly fee by the number of businesses you connect; documents are unlimited.

Who It Is For

Two kinds of developer, one model:

• A system for one business.You build the billing for a single business — your own, or a client's. The developer account is that business, and it issues documents with its own API keys. Nothing else to set up.
• A SaaS running Glance underneath. Your product issues tax documents for many businesses. You open a business per customer through the API; each has its own Israeli business id, API keys, document numbering and its own Tax Authority connection, and your developer account pays for all of them in one monthly charge, by the number of businesses. What Is Included

• The four tax document types — invoice, invoice-receipt, receipt and credit note — created and previewed through Documents, plus cancelling a receipt or a credit note.
• Allocation numbers (מספר הקצאה) from the Israel Tax Authority, on the business's own authorization.
• The PDF of every document, email delivery to the client, and webhooks.
• The uniform data report (מבנה אחיד) every business must be able to produce.
• What issuing needs around it: clients, business details, logo and numbering, API keys, and billing.

Tiers

The tier belongs to the developer account. Its monthly fee covers a number of connected businesses, and each business above that costs a fixed price. Documents are unlimited under a fair use of 10,000 tax documents per business per month.

Prices are in ILS before VAT, per month, and may change. The current prices are always at GET /public/api-pricing — a public endpoint that needs no key — so read them from there rather than hard-coding this table. The tier code is what the API takes. A new account starts on Solo.

Scale and Enterprise are priced per agreement: contact us for a quote and we assign the tier to your account. The price list returns them with contactSales: true and no prices, and an account cannot move itself onto them (403 API_TIER_CONTACT_SALES).

SMS delivery of a document costs ₪0.08 per message before VAT, for any business; no SMS are included in any tier.

What Counts as a Connected Business

A month's count is:

• Every business opened under the account that was open at any time that month — whether or not it issued anything. A business opened on the 28th counts for that month; one closed on the 3rd counts for that month and not for the next.
• The developer account's own company, only in a month in which it issued tax documents. A SaaS that never issues in its own name does not pay for itself.

So a developer building a system for one business is one connected business, and Solo covers it. Follow the count during the month on GET /platform/account, which also returns the estimated charge.

Previews, failed attempts, drafts, allocation numbers, PDFs, emails and webhooks are all free — only SMS is charged on top of the tier.

Fair Use

Each business may issue up to 10,000 tax documents a month within its tier. Fair use is never enforced by the meter: nothing is blocked and nothing is charged when a business goes above it. Such a business is flagged to you — usage.overFairUse on GET /platform/businesses and usage.businessesOverFairUse on GET /platform/account — and reported to Glance, and the price for that volume is agreed with you.

The current limit is part of every tier, as fairUseDocumentsPerBusiness on GET /public/api-pricing.

Trial

A new developer account starts on Solo with a 14-day trial; the trial days are free. During the trial a platform can open up to three businesses without a card; after that, and once the trial ends, opening a business needs a payment method (otherwise 402 API_BILLING_METHOD_REQUIRED).

Billing

• In arrears, on the 1st. Each month is charged on the 1st of the next one.
• One charge per account:the tier fee (prorated in the first month), plus each connected business above the tier's included number, plus SMS sent by any of the businesses. A receipt is issued for it as for any Glance charge.
• The tier at billing time applies to the whole month. The tier the account is on when its month is billed sets that month's fee and included businesses.
• Upgrade or downgrade any time with PUT /platform/tier, or from the dashboard. The change is immediate.

Not in This Version

There is no sandbox yet (no test keys or mocked allocation numbers). Until there is, test with the preview endpoints, which issue nothing, and during the trial, when issued documents are free.
