Account & Tiers

The developer account behind an API plan: its tier, how many businesses it is paying for this month, its trial and payment state, and settling an account that was blocked for an unpaid charge. Every /platform route needs an owner — an owner API key of the developer account, or an owner signed in to the dashboard. A blocked account can still call the GET routes and settle; everything else waits until it has paid.

Use cases: Show the current tier prices, check the connected-business count and estimated charge for the month, move the account to a bigger tier as you grow, and unblock the account after fixing a declined card.

GET/public/api-pricing

The API plan tiers and their current prices. Public: no API key needed, so a pricing page can read it directly.

Prices are in ILS before VAT, per developer account per month, and can change — read them from here rather than hard-coding them. `includedBusinesses` is how many connected businesses the fee covers and `pricePerExtraBusiness` the price of each one above it. `documents` is always "unlimited": documents are not metered. `fairUseDocumentsPerBusiness` is the fair use — 10,000 tax documents per business per month at launch. Nothing is blocked or charged above it; a business that goes over is flagged in the usage endpoints, and the price for such volume is agreed with you. A tier that is switched off is left out of the list. Tiers with `contactSales: true` (Scale and Enterprise) are priced per agreement: their `monthlyPrice` and `pricePerExtraBusiness` are null, and `includedBusinesses` still says how many businesses they cover — contact Glance for a quote.

GET/platform/tiers

The tiers the account can be on, in display order — the same list as GET /public/api-pricing, for an authenticated owner.

`code` is what PUT /platform/tier takes as `tier`. Contact-sales tiers (`contactSales: true`) are listed with null prices here too; Glance assigns them. An account on one sees its own prices on GET /platform/account.

GET/platform/account

The developer account the calling company belongs to: its tier, its connected businesses and estimated charge for a month, its trial, whether it is blocked, and whether it has a payment method.

`usage.connectedBusinesses` counts every business opened under the account that was open at any time in the month, plus the developer account's own company only if it issued tax documents that month — `platformCounted` says whether it did. `estimatedCharge` is the tier fee plus the extra businesses, in ILS before VAT, at the current tier; it leaves out SMS and first-month proration, and the tier the account is on when the month is billed is the one that applies. `fairUseDocumentsPerBusiness` is the tier's fair use and `businessesOverFairUse` how many of the account's businesses issued more tax documents than that in the month — they are not blocked or charged for it; Glance gets in touch to agree a price for that volume. `tier` is the account's own tier with its real prices — also when it is a contact-sales tier, whose prices the public list hides — or null if the account has no active tier. `isPlatform` is true for the developer account itself and false when the caller is a business opened under it; `tier`, `usage` and `platform` always describe the developer account, which is the one that pays. A company that is not on the API plan gets 403 `API_PLATFORM_ONLY`.

PUT/platform/tier

Move the developer account to another tier — an upgrade or a downgrade, effective immediately.

`changed` is false when the account was already on that tier. The tier the account is on when its month is billed sets that whole month's fee and included businesses, so moving up before the 1st covers a month in which you added many customers. A code that is not a tier answers 400 `INVALID_FIELD`, and a tier that is currently switched off 400 `API_TIER_NOT_FOUND`. Contact-sales tiers (`scale`, `enterprise`) cannot be self-selected: moving to one answers 403 `API_TIER_CONTACT_SALES` — contact Glance and the tier is assigned for you. An account already on one may send its own tier again (`changed: false`). Only the developer account can call it — a business opened under it gets 403 `API_PLATFORM_ONLY`.

POST/platform/billing/settle

Charge everything that is overdue now and, if the charge succeeds, unblock the developer account and every business under it.

Use it after three failed monthly charges have blocked the account: update the card in the dashboard, then call this. `totalCharged` is the amount charged including VAT, and 0 when nothing was due. When the charge fails the response is 402 with `success: false` and an `error` string (for example "No payment method" or "Charge failed"), and the account stays blocked. Only the developer account can call it — a business opened under it gets 403 `API_PLATFORM_ONLY`.
